Expecting: Marcie & Derek | Helena, MT Maternity Photographer

Marcie, Derek and I met on a rather stormy Bozeman evening (that *never* happens, right?! wink, wink) just last week on the 4th of July for their maternity session. They were so laid back -- even with a half-hour or so wait in the car for the storms to pass half way through the session, they weren't fazed at all. I'm thinking baby Zoey will be the same way when I meet her in a few weeks.

Mama Marcie just glows -- you can feel the love that she already has for her baby girl. And Daddy just seems tickled pink about his wife and his baby-to-be.

Sarah and Chase are having a baby | Helena Bozeman Montana Maternity Family Photographer

Meet Sarah and Chase, who will be welcoming their first baby into the world this summer! I had a wonderful time with them up at Springhill Pavilion (SUCH a beautiful place!) a few nights ago. These two are very much in love with each other and their baby. I can't wait to meet the little one myself! I had a hard time choosing which images to highlight -- everything about our session was perfect, and it was hard to stop!

Waiting for baby {Bozeman, MT Maternity Photographer}

Heather and I rescheduled her maternity session from a couple weeks ago so that her daughter could be a part of it. I'm always so pleased to include all family members in a maternity session. Although Mom is the one carrying the baby, the entire family spends this time waiting and preparing for the arrival of a new family member. I enjoy seeing the interaction between older siblings and the baby in the belly - in my experience it's been different every time. Kennedy is sure to be a loving, caring big sister to baby boy. I can't wait to see them in a few weeks after he joins the family (and I can't wait to hear what name they decide on!)

Making the best of a snowy day... Becca and Leslie {Bozeman, MT Portrait Photographer}

I decided today that if it's going to snow in April, I might as well make the best of it. I only needed someone else who agreed with me... Luckily, I found two someones! Becca and Leslie trudged out in the snow with me this evening and allowed me to get these incredible shots! We had a blast - I felt like I was a teenager out with the girls again! Thank you both for the opportunity.

Becca definitely needs to be a ski model. For real. Either that or a dopple-ganger for Cameron Diaz. Beautiful.

I photographed Leslie's adorable daughter for her second birthday a month or so ago -- today I was able to really take the time to see where all that beauty came from!

I can't wait to meet the baby this summer!
