Gina & Mike: A Maui Wedding | Maui and Montana Wedding Photographer
I'm still reeling from the incredible wedding I photographed last week in Maui, Hawaii. This was a very special, beautiful day filled with love. Gina and Mike were surrounded by close friends and family and the memory of her mother as they said their vows overlooking the ocean in Kihei. I am honored to have made these images of their special day. All my best, Gina and Mike!
The venue is seriously a photographer's dream. So well designed and thought out -- everywhere you look is just waiting to be made into a photo.
Could she look any more beautiful?! Wow!
As the bride steps out of the building on to the back steps, the glass doors behind her reflect the beautiful palm trees and ocean.
Mike and Gina opted for a traditional wedding day - they waited to see each other until she was walking down the aisle. In lieu of a first look with bride and groom, I suggested we do a little daddy-daughter first look. This was my favorite moment of the entire day. I'll be suggesting this to future brides!
Gina's mom Cathie played a huge role in choosing this venue for Gina's wedding day. She passed away in January, but she was everywhere in spirit throughout the day.
I don't care how old you are. You're never too old to make funny faces with your siblings.
I'm pretty convinced there isn't a better backdrop for a wedding in the world.
Aaaaaaahhhhh. There is no better sunset than a Maui sunset.
This little flower girl couldn't take any more fun. She crashed on the same gorgeous sofa where Gina took that stunning photo earlier in the day.
A couple days after the wedding, Gina, Mike and I headed out for a trash the dress session. I could get used to this Maui Wedding Photographer gig. Can I say again how much I love it here and how gorgeous the photos are?! I'm certain no one could ever take a bad picture in Maui.
All my best to Gina and Mike. Thank you for trusting the memories of your special day to me!
