Butte, America
I cannot say enough about how great this weekend's workshop was, and how much I came away with. I was pushed far outside of my comfort zone, and I learned SO much from it. I am already a better photographer for having had this experience. Thanks again to Doug and Thomas at Montana Photography Workshops for the oodles of wisdom you bestowed upon me over these two days.
This is just a glimpse of Butte -- a gritty, honest town full of character (and characters).
The shoot we did with the women of Pink Gloves Boxing was unbelievable. Talk about walking in and fighting everything inside me that told me to dig a hole and hide! This was everything I thought I couldn't do. But I did it.
I was challenged to work on my still life and landscape skills. I pretty much had none when I walked in, but when I walked out, I came out with these. Awesome.
