Road Trip | Helena, MT Photographer

Off we go! I'm taking my girls on a 1,250-mile road trip starting tomorrow! We'll be gone for 5 or 6 days, our destination being Mt. Rushmore. Sleeping bags, s'mores, flashlight parties, new(ish) friends and huge adventure lay in our near future!

I plan on posting details regarding Holiday Mini-Sessions here on the blog and Facebook when I return, so stay tuned!

Senior Spotlight: Elle | Helena, MT Senior Photographer

I recently spent a beautiful evening with a beautiful Shepherd High senior! We met in the middle (Shepherd is outside of Billings!) in Bozeman for a beautiful evening. Totally worth all the miles on both ends.

We had a great time exploring some indoor and outdoor spots for her senior photos. Of course she made my job easy, being that she could probably knock on some Hollywood door and become a model overnight... But that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed our evening (and my two assistants - thanks Sarah and Kimber!) telling stories, laughing at weird guys, swatting mosquitoes and playing in the river.

6 day old Zoey | Helena, Montana Newborn Baby Photographer

How could I not be smitten with another baby Zoey?!

I met this wonderfully loving mommy and daddy last month of the fourth of July for their maternity session, and had been eagerly awaiting their new addition! I'm pleased to introduce you to baby Zoey!

I hope I get the chance you see you all again soon!

Jackson is 1 | Helena, Montana Baby Photographer

Yet another baby's first year come and gone! There was no shortage of proofs from this session! Jackson has been a great subject for all his sessions - newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and certainly didn't disappoint for his one year session!

As always, it's a blast to watch these little ones grow from tiny wiggly newborns into toddlers - ready to run at the drop of a hat!

I need to mention that I *love* the fact that my job involves getting babies to make the most GIANT mess that they can, then I get to leave. Love it!!

(Okay, so I have to clean up, too, but encouraging these little ones to go crazy is so.much.fun.)

Capturing life contest | Helena, MT Photographer

I'm totally honored to have been chosen as one of the top ten finalists for a "Capturing Life" contest put on by Oh So Posh Photography! I'd love for you to stop over on her blog and vote for my photo, #6, in the contest. Voting is open through this Sunday, and only one vote per person. You don't need to register or sign up for anything -- just leave a comment at the bottom of the post mentioning which image you vote for. Now, I have to admit that there are some great images in the top 10, so if you feel inclined to vote for another image, that's totally fine by me.
