Thank you to everyone who entered to win my recent Facebook give away contest -- and special thanks to everyone who helped (and continues to help) spread the word about me in my new town!

I'm excited to offer a great deal to everyone who entered but wasn't chosen as the big winner. I'm a very generous soul, so here's my thank-you to everyone who responded to the July 15th post on Zo-Mak's facebook post titled "Giveaway time!"

In a nutshell, I'm offering you a half-priced session and 25% off a la carte print orders for sessions booked and completed before the end of September 2011.

Young or old, there's always a reason to celebrate and capture memories that disappear so quickly...

The fine print:

* Half price session fee for any of the following types of sessions: kids, family, couple, maternity, senior or pets (up to 5 people).

* Session must be held in the greater Helena area prior to September 30, 2011

* Minimum print order applies

* Session fee must be paid upon booking to hold your date on the calendar. Session fee is non-refundable; in case of poor weather, we will reschedule.

* Zo-Mak's referral program always applies! Tell people about your experience with Zo-Mak, tell them to tell me that you sent them, and you'll receive a free 8x12 print upon completion of their session as a thank-you!

* We're required to have fun. If you're not ready for fun, you can't come. For real ;)

First, let me tell you all that I can't believe what a dork I am that I haven't blogged about my FB giveaway yet. Apologies.

For anyone out there who doesn't know yet, here are the details:

I promised a giveaway once Zo-Mak's Facebook page reached 300 fans. That happened, so here it is.

You'll be able to earn two entries, and the winner will be chosen by random.org. Entries will be taken from now through Friday, 7/22/11 at midnight MST

Here's how to earn your entries for a free session and free 16x20 canvas:

1 - Find and respond to the post on my Facebook Page that starts with "Giveaway time!" (it was originally posted on 7/15 - that should help narrow it down) with what kind of session you would want to have if you're the winner (family, baby, high school senior, etc...) and why you want a custom photo session.

2 - Earn extra entries by referring your friends to Zo-Mak's fan page, and leave another post telling me who you referred.

*session must take place in the Helena area no later than 8/31/2011

Brielle is One! | Helena, MT Baby and Child Photographer

Another birthday baby! Brielle just recently turned one and we celebrated her birthday session up at Hyalite Canyon in Bozeman. It was a beautiful sunny day, so of course I ran looking for shade... but it was wonderful! Even though she was a bit on the tired side, we made the best of it and ended up wtih some priceless images of this bitty baby girl.

Petals & Pops | Helena, MT Commercial Product Photographer

I love having relationships with people that benefit everyone involved. I recently met a very talented mom at the Farmers Market. She makes these adorable (and brilliant!) hair clips and headbands for girls. I started chatting and (long story short) we decided to make a trade! It's working out especially well for me since I lost all my baby girl headband/flower props when I moved... So she gets some fun images of her hair flowers in use on some super cute models to display at her table at the farmer's market, and I get some headbands to start my collection again! (And some free advertising, which is priceless!)

Did I mention that having a new friend in a new town is also priceless?! Thank you again for the trade, Jenny! I'm loving it! (...and next we need to get some pictures of those YUMMY and beautiful cake pops!)

I Heart Faces: Props | Helena, Montana Photographer

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is props. I don't use too many props, but this one from my product shoot with Maranda Lee was one worth setting up!

Baby Sam is 8 months | Helena Montana Baby Photographer

I'm so glad that Sam is on my baby's first year plan. This is the third time I've gotten to hang out with him (check out his previous sessions here and here) and he just gets cuter every time. I know I say that for all my babies - and it's so true. Babies are definitely my favorite subject, and I'm honored when my clients book me to capture memories throughout the whole first year.

Expecting: Marcie & Derek | Helena, MT Maternity Photographer

Marcie, Derek and I met on a rather stormy Bozeman evening (that *never* happens, right?! wink, wink) just last week on the 4th of July for their maternity session. They were so laid back -- even with a half-hour or so wait in the car for the storms to pass half way through the session, they weren't fazed at all. I'm thinking baby Zoey will be the same way when I meet her in a few weeks.

(I'm so glad they took advantage of the Mommy and Me special - an ongoing offer with Zo-Mak Photography)

Mama Marcie just glows -- you can feel the love that she already has for her baby girl. And Daddy just seems tickled pink about his wife and his baby-to-be.

Elizabeth is One | Helena, MT Baby Photographer

I'm so sad for the end of this baby's first year! I think we need to continue to see her every three months until she goes to college. Seriously. She just gets me every time!

Miss Elizabeth came to visit me up in Helena for her 1-year session, and as usual did not disappoint! She's gotten cuter and squishier each time I see her. Check out her 9 month, 6 month, 3 month and newborn sessions for proof. Just perfection!
